I‘ve been holidaying in Tenerife since 1990 with my finacee at least once a year. When my fiancee and I bought our first house in the UK together money was soooo tight that we used to book fly by‘s (timeshare) just so we got an extra weeks accomodation cheaply, (after all the flights are the same price for two weeks are they are for one!!!) I could tell you some stories about those days, who wanted the 200 ciggies and cheap bottle of plonk, we got what we wanted a weeks accomodation on the reef!!! We learned to say no to even the hardest sell very early on! They say it‘s hard sell now.....yeah right!!!! Now things are looking up....only 5 years to go on our UK mortgage and we‘re looking at buying a property in Tenerife, initially to rent out, with a view to retiring there as soon as finances permit. I may be fairly new to MySpaceTenerife but I‘m not new to Tenerife itself and I enjoy testing my (very) limited Spanish on the waiters and bar staff where ever we go! (Hablo una poca d‘Espanol solo)
