I live in Tenerife with my husband and 3 children.....I am very very happy here and think it is probably the best thing I have ever done...
We moved here almost 2 years ago and haven‘t looked back. My 3 children go to spanish school and they are doing really well. The 2 eldest aged 8 and 10 speak excellent spanish and the youngest who is 4 is starting to speak the language now.
My husband and I work here on a part time basis but hubby does go back to UK once a month to work there for a week.
I have found Tenerife to be the best place to bring up my children. It feels safer and more relaxed, no running about at the speed of light. The children can have more of an outside life rather than cooped up in the house cos the weather is bad...heehee.
